Buffi was a member of Taylor High School’s Ornamental Horticulture Team throughout middle and high school. After college, she began a very successful career as a licensed massage therapist that spanned more than 14 years. Her love of horticulture and family brought her back to Alpha Fern Company early in 2013 where she has stepped right in sync with our day-to-day operations.

We were lucky to bring him on board when we took over Victor Powell ferneries in 2012. With a wealth of fern knowledge, David works in sales and has recently taken over our greens purchasing.

Shelley is our newest farm family member. She moved to Florida in 2017 with her husband Thomas. She hails from Alabama where she raised her two children while working for the Boaz City School System. She attends The Sanctuary Church of God in Deland and is very involved in the community-outreach programs they have. Despite her love for the Auburn Tigers, she is a welcomed addition to our team.
